We don’t view internships as short-term opportunities. We view them as the start of a career journey. Through meaningful mentorship, real-world experience, and personal guidance, we help interns explore what a future in wealth management can look like.
Our university partnerships are an important part of our commitment to developing future industry leaders. By collaborating with student organizations such as the Auburn Finance Society (AFS), and other university academic programs, we provide mentorship, support professional development initiatives, and help create opportunities for students to gain real-world insight into the financial services profession. These relationships foster meaningful connections and create lasting value for both students and our team.
Building the Next Generation of Advisors
Since 2017, we have proudly offered our internship program, VectorNEXT. Each year, we host virtual internships in the fall and spring, along with an in-person internship during the summer. We partner with several universities, including the University of Alabama, Samford University, Auburn University, and Freed-Hardeman University, to connect with students who are eager to grow in our industry. The program is designed to help them discover and develop their potential while gaining meaningful exposure to our profession. Through their work with us, interns see firsthand how we build and maintain client relationships and gain insight into the day-to-day operations, strategy, and care that go into serving our clients well. 2025 was an especially exciting one for VectorNEXT as our program continued to grow in both participation and impact. With a mix of virtual and in-person opportunities, we had nine students join us throughout the year. We were honored to meet some incredible students and look forward to seeing them continue to grow and develop. We had the pleasure of welcoming the following students to our team: Mia Griffin (FHU) (Not Pictured), Austin Nebeker (AU), Jack Zondervan (FHU), Scott McKee (Falkner), Trent Thomas (FHU), Linlee Herring (AU), Grayson Hall (Harding), Paige Armstrong (AU) and Wrigley Stevens (UA).
