In 2017, the Vector Community Scholars Fund was established to focus on two groups in the greater Huntsville community. Half of the money raised each year goes to students whose parents or grandparents work in the local defense industry, while the other half provides scholarship money for students who are heading to college as a result of The CAP & GOWN Project. The C&G Project focuses on making college a reality for underrepresented kids attending high school in Madison County. We are proud to announce that to date, these initiatives have raised more than $377,000 in scholarship dollars! With this, we have been able to support 35 students in their college journey so far – and we’re just getting started.
