We are proud to recognize Tinuadeoluwa Adenjii as one of this year’s Vector Community Scholars recipients! Tinuadeoluwa plans to double major in Business and Public Policy to build a strong foundation for a future in law. After college, she hopes to attend law school and use her education to make a meaningful impact in her community. We are honored to support driven students like Tinuadeoluwa as they pursue their goals and create positive change for the future.

Owen recently graduated James Clemens High School and plans to attend Auburn University to pursue a degree in Social Work in the fall. With a passion for advocating for others, he hopes to support individuals and communities in need while making a meaningful impact through his future career. Owen’s dedication to helping others and serving his community is inspiring, and we are excited to see the difference he will make in the years ahead.

Tessa just completed her freshman year at Sewanee, where she is majoring in Molecular Biology and Genetics while pursuing double minors in Environmental Studies and Dance. As a Wilkins Scholar, Dance Fellow, and AmeriCorps member, she is actively involved in serving others through the Office of Civic Engagement, Outreach Trips, and community-focused initiatives. In addition to her service work, Tessa is a dedicated dancer with Dancewise and Perpetual Motion and an active member of Theta Pi Sorority. Her commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and community engagement makes her an outstanding representative of the values of the Vector Community Scholars program.

Sulma recently graduated from East Limestone High School and will attend the University of South Florida this fall, where she plans to major in Political Science with a minor in Communications. She hopes to use her education to make a greater impact on equality and promote the inclusion of Latino communities across the nation. Sulma’s dedication to advocacy, leadership, and creating positive changes make her a deserving recipient of this scholarship.

Julian recently graduated from New Century Technology High School and plans to pursue a degree in Biochemistry. With a strong interest in science and innovation, he hopes to use his education to build a career in biotechnology and contribute to advancements that improve lives and communities. Julian’s passion for learning and commitment to pursuing meaningful opportunities make him an outstanding recipient of this scholarship.

Aviona recently graduated from Mae Jemison High School and plans to attend The University of Alabama this fall, where she will study Business. She hopes to build a career in analytics, using data-driven insights to help organizations make informed decisions and achieve their goals. Aviona’s focus, ambition, and dedication to her future make her a deserving recipient of this scholarship.

Joshua recently graduated from Whitesburg Baptist Academy and plans to major in Animal Sciences as he works toward his goal of becoming a veterinarian. Dedicated and hardworking, he is passionate about learning through new experiences and pursuing a career that allows him to care for animals and serve others. Outside of academics, Joshua enjoys playing the guitar, kayaking, and trail running. His determination, curiosity, and commitment to his future goals make him an outstanding recipient of this scholarship.

Taylor recently graduated from Hazel Green High School and plans to attend Alabama A&M University this fall, where she will major in Finance with a minor in Urban Planning. With a passion for creating meaningful change, she aspires to build a career in commercial real estate development, designing impactful spaces that uplift and inspire communities. Taylor’s leadership, ambition, and commitment to making a positive difference make her a deserving recipient of this scholarship.
