Christmas Charities Year-Round’s (CCYR) mission is to improve the quality of life for Madison County residents in need by providing basic necessities and program services at no cost.
Collaboration with local nonprofits, such as First Stop, Huntsville Hospital, Wellstone, and CASA connect case managers with items needed, which CCYR’s Waste-Not program can supply. This collaborative connection helps support our community overall. Inadequate Health Insurance coverage and financial hardship are the primary reasons residents turn to the Waste-Not program as their only option. Clients are referred by hospitals, orthopedic centers, and social service organizations from across northern Alabama to utilize this program.
