Real Fathers Making a Difference, Inc. (RF MAD) will enhance its Mentoring and Early Level-Up (ELU) Math and Reading Literacy Program by supporting disadvantaged youths of color in grades K-3rd grades residing within the 35805-school district. Real Fathers primary goal is to rekindle youths’ commitment to their education, provide a meaningful and positive outlook on life, develop moral and ethical values, build positive self-esteem, and enrich parenting skills that will positively affect their lives.
Their program fosters leadership and character development, academic excellence and community involvement and personal accountability targeting underserved and disadvantaged youth. This expanded RF-ELU Reading and Literacy Program will target at-risk, fatherless and academically challenged students attending Lakewood Elementary.
