North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless

We’re proud to award a $5,000 grant from our Community Impact Fund to the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless in support of HARBOR (Housing Access, Recovery, and Behavioral Outreach Resources), a new pilot program designed to serve unhoused individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

This grant will help expand access to voluntary, low-barrier, high-touch services through community outreach, shelters, and referrals, connecting individuals with housing, recovery resources, and behavioral health support before they enter crisis systems. By reaching people earlier, HARBOR aims to reduce emergency room visits, incarceration, and chronic homelessness while creating pathways toward long-term stability.

We’re honored to partner with the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless as they expand access to compassionate, community-based support for some of our region’s most vulnerable neighbors.
