Huntsville STEAM Works was awarded $5,000 from the Vector Wealth Strategies Community Impact Fund in July 2017.
Huntsville STEAM Works is a non profit organization dedicated to teaching science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to Madison County and beyond.
“We have equipment comparable to a fab lab which we currently use to develop curriculum and teaching aids for STEAM subjects for grade school students,” Rob Adams, lab manager, said. “We are expanding and will triple our set of shop equipment and space. Then, we will start offering training and memberships to the adult community! We are rapidly becoming the ‘go to’ place for STEAM education for children, and we intend to do the same for adults.”
