In 2017, the Vector Community Scholars Fund was established to focus on two groups in the greater Huntsville community. Half of the money raised each year goes to students whose parents or grandparents work in the local defense industry, while the other half provides scholarship money for students who are heading to college as a result of The CAP & GOWN Project. The C&G Project focuses on making college a reality for underrepresented kids attending high school in Madison County.
We invite you to join us in celebration as we present these awards to eight very deserving students on Tuesday, May 7th at 6pm. Because of the generous support of our clients and other fundraising drives, the Vector Community Scholars Fund is able to award $80,000 in scholarships this year. Dinner will be provided.
