Congratulations, AGAPE of North Alabama, on receiving our Community Impact Fund grant!
AGAPE seeks to strengthen families by placing children in loving, safe homes through foster care and adoption. AGAPE also provides trauma-informed therapeutic services to children who have experienced abuse or neglect and helps those children find healing and hope for a successful future.
With this grant, AGAPE can onboard two college student summer interns studying social work. These students will spend the summer learning about the impact of the trauma experienced by the children AGAPE serves and the evidence-based intervention methods utilized with these children.
